The StimTrac (Stimulus Tracking) module is part of the ETAnalysis suite. It automates analysis for studies where gaze falls on a stimulus display. You record both the stimulus on the device screen and the head-mounted eye tracking data; the output is gaze superimposed on the clean, high-quality screen image.
Fixations on background images can be presented by size, number, or duration, and are automatically assigned to your designated areas of interest. Statistics include total and percent time in each AOI, number of fixations, average fixation duration, total fixation time, time to first fixation, and average pupil diameter.
StimTrac removes the traditional disadvantage of using a head-mounted tracker where a remote tracker would be recommended, and saves the cost of buying two systems.
